Maloney’s Budgens in Shepperton was delighted to play host last Saturday to Katie from James of Shepperton Butchers.

Katie was in store to offer sampling to customers to highlight a new range of easy to cook, oven-ready dishes from this award-winning local butcher.

Cooking up a variety of dishes including garlic and ginger chicken and chilli garlic breast, Katie was kept busy as demand to try this new range rarely let up – and the products were flying off the shelves at an incredible rate.

Manager Mark Toogood commented:  “This was a brilliant event; all our customers who stopped to sample Katie’s dishes from James of Shepperton were so impressed with the flavour and quality, so much so that I had trouble keeping the shelves stocked!  Many people don’t realise what a great variety of products we have in store, and this new range of easy to cook, oven-ready dishes is just what customers want; fantastic quality and flavour at a reasonable price – whilst also supporting a superb local business.”
